Commercial Construction Superintendent

Pivotal, LLC is currently seeking experienced Commercial Construction Superintendents to direct ground-up construction activities in the field. Candidate must be self-motivated, experienced and a team player.
Responsibilities:

Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints.

Capability to layout projects from scaled plans.

Develop the project schedule by identifying critical path steps to meet deadlines and then oversee the coordination and updating of the schedule throughout the duration of the project.

Ensure all appropriate permits have been issued and are properly posted.

Develop and implement a site-specific quality control plan.
-
Maintain safety standards by implementing a site-specific safety plan.
-
Continually review the project site for unsafe conditions and practices and ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Document with subcontractors as required.

Conduct Tool Box Talks with all site personal as needed.

Facilitate onsite subcontractor pre-construction meetings as required.

Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors and vendors

Identify and resolve construction problems as they develop.

Complete and maintain all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, weekly and monthly updates. Track and document all delays.

Manage schedule impacts in order to minimize risk.

Review subcontractor submittals and shop drawings during installation to ensure conformance with manufacturer instructions.

Perform takeoffs, ordering, and scheduling material as needed.

Coordinate with Project Manager to identify and report all project details, including progress, risks, conflicts, and opportunities to the project management team in a timely manner to minimize schedule impacts.

Review plan revisions to identify changes and coordinate with subcontractors.

Assist with review of monthly subcontractor payment applications to ensure billings are in line with actual work installed.

Help mitigate potential subcontractor change orders and back-charges that may affect project profitability and document them to the extent required.

Ensure the project quality meets company and industry standards.

Keep a clean and orderly jobsite at all times.

Close out the project in compliance with the contract documents.

Supervise and help develop project staff establishing and communicating expectations, providing constructive feedback, determining training and development needs, and providing mentorship.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 3 years experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of commercial construction from infrastructure to completion
· Must have valid drivers license and dependable transportation.
· A thorough knowledge of all trades
